Nassau Lynden Pindling International Airport (NAS)
Driving Directions / Travel by Car

(Nassau, New Providence, Bahamas, West Indies)

Providing a gateway to the Bahamas for many US and international visitors, the Bahamas Nassau International Airport (NAS) is an important hub on the island of New Providence. The airport is located just 16 km / 10 miles west of the city of Nassau and is easily accessible via the island's uncomplicated road network.

New Providence is connected to the nearby Paradise Island, to the north-east, by two bridges. Especially close to Nassau Airport you will find some of the best beaches in the Bahamas, including Cable Beach to the north. Directly east is Lake Killarney and a popular golf course.

To the south of the airport is Adelaide, Coral Harbour and Millars, while to the west you will find Mount Pleasant, Lyford Cay and the Waterloo area.

To reach the terminals, head west on West Bay Street until you meet Blake Road, which leads to the JFK Drive. The airport is situated about 3 km / 2 miles along JFK Drive, on the left-hand side of the road.

Directions to Bahamas Nassau International Airport (NAS) from the downtown district:

  • Take West Bay Street in a westerly direction, driving towards Blake Road
  • Follow Blake Road onto JFK Drive
  • Follow JFK Drive until you see the airport sign. Take a right here and continue for 3 km / 2 miles until you reach the terminals and car park
